This series just keeps getting better and better.
I haven’t been very active on Tumblr, music-wise, lately. I decided I’d upload just a few snippets of some of the projects I’ve been working on that haven’t seen the light of day yet.
Maybe some day someone other than myself will hear them in their entirety…
Cello - Richness of tone, the emotion that can be put into it, and huge variety of unique sounds that can be produced when played in certain ways probably makes this my top choice - not that this list is in any sort of order
Dulcimer - Clear unique twangy tone, and I love the precision…
at one point, kids, i was working on expanding “descend2” (what would become cascade) into something bigger and longer. obviously that fell through and tensei finished his track as he wanted to do it, which is well and good, but hey.
this is as far as i got. maybe i’ll finish it one day. there are a buttload of problems here, most notably the sburban jungle samples in the lead up to the drop and the fact that i didn’t make it my own, enough, at this point.
maybe this will get done for volume 9. i’d like that.RJ you are magic
Sorry for sitting on this so long. I decided after I’d chosen the winner I’d just work on his/her request and announce the winner at the same time the song was finished. I’d expected the song to take me a few days, but days ended up turning to weeks as I progressively got more and more sidetracked by other projects… My apologies!
The winner of my music giveaway is gommage! She had two suggestions for me: a theme for her fantroll Pirkum Kecohs or a “spring time song with flutes”. The reason why this song took me so long to make is that I had a hard time deciding which one to do! In the end, I decided to take the first option and write an action-packed strife theme for Pirkum Kecohs, a yellowblood with basic telekinetic abilities and a sort of buzzing speech/typing quirk to go along with his electric motif. :Z
